You may even want to take this expert with you when you are purchasing a gauge so that you will know that you are buying one that is sufficient. Learning how to produce quality miter joints may take a little trial and error, but with the right tutoring and the right gauge, you should be able to do quality work in very little time. Remember, however, that even if you know you've bought the best possible gauge for producing miter joints, you will still need to test your gauge periodically to make sure that it has not become too old or worn. With a good quality gauge, you should be able to produce a numerous amount of miter joints before your gauge needs to be replaced.
